Preselection: To be able to participate in this audition phase candidates must send the application form correctly filled. The arias must be sung, by memory, uncut, in the original language and tonality, including the recitatives and/or the cabalettas if that is the case. If the opting role has no aria, one of free choice, as closely as possible to the role charateristics, has to be sung.
  • IOS will provide candidates with a piano accompanist. Those who want to bring their own pianist may be do so.
  • Auditions will take place in Madrid, Mexico D.F., Bogota and New York, the selected candidates will choose to perform the audition in one of these venues. These auditions will take place during June 2017. Dates and places will be communicated within the admission into the selection phase.
